Leonardo Challenge - Journey to Tokyo Disney Resort - Part 88 - 4/16/16

The human here. I had read on another site that they would not give maps for the Leonardo Challenge to foreigners (!!!).  I am very seriously wondering if that was a misunderstanding, though.  You have to wait in a line to see a video of Leonardo da Vinci to get a map. I didn't get the impression that they would outright refuse to give you one if you weren't Japanese!  And it's one map per party.  It WOULD be hard to follow the map if you didn't know Japanese, but somehow my friend, who knows less Japanese than I do (which is not very much) got through fine on her own. (I was lucky enough to be with a friend who knows functional Japanese and his friend, a native speaker, though...and THEY were kind enough to give let me and Shellie May and Gelatoni keep the map!)

"Oh, we had fun!"

The view wasn't bad, either!

"If we work together, we can move a planet!"

"We raced planets! The human picked Mercury...tee hee."

"Gelatoni looks like he is thinking of painting!"

"We got to stamp the map at the end!"

Scale of Tokyo DisneySea - Journey to Tokyo Disney Resort - Part 85 - 4/16/16

"Look at how huge Tokyo DisneySea is! You can really see it when there are people around."

"Casa mia!" said Gelatoni.

"So many places to pose!"

"There are places to pose for pictures, even on a very crowded day!"

To Tokyo DisneySea with Gelatoni - Journey to Tokyo Disney Resort - Part 76 - 4/16/16

"Hey! Jetlag is kind of great!  Because the human couldn't sleep, so we got to the gates at about 6:45 a.m.  Rope drop is at 8:00 a.m.! We are on an old Spring Voyage leisure sheet!"

"You did not get to see much of the park yet, Gelatoni, did you? We will have so much fun!"

(This was a sold-out day, but I felt like the crowds weren't any worse than what I've seen in Anaheim...lines got long, but the park is very well laid-out and spacious.)

"Let's hurry up and get....pictures?"

"Say formaggio!" said Gelatoni.

"Do you like the S.S. Columbia, Gelatoni? It is our human's favorite!"

Journey to Tokyo Disney Resort - Part 27 - Walt and Story Papers - 4/13/16

"It was the 15th anniversary of Tokyo DisneySea.  So special!"

"Whoa! The Wing of Wishes! I would like to get in and fly/sail away into adventure someday."

"Hm...it is not such a small world, actually...."

"Hey! I remember this statue!  It is in Disney California Adventure too!"

Human here.  We stopped by Guest Relations and got Story Papers! Those are printed papers that explain the plot of many of the rides.  They're outstanding!  I asked for them in Japanese. I think the Cast Member asked if I wanted them in English, since I had spoken to her in Japanese. (Either that or it was the one in Tokyo Disneyland.) I didn't think to ask for a set for my friend so she had to ask for her own, though she managed. (Later she realized she could've just said "same" in Japanese....I think the both of us suffered from being slow at figuring out how to juryrig our very limited Japanese into communication!)
